Belgian-based artist CLG has released “EGO,” his latest single showcasing the cloud rap, trap, and lo-fi beat influences that define his eclectic approach to hip-hop. The Belgian-Italian rapper combines catchy beats with complementary flow, enhanced by creative breaks and vocal harmonies designed to captivate listeners throughout the track.

“EGO” demonstrates CLG’s commitment to offering “new genres that stand out from current rap” while addressing diverse themes beyond what he calls “banal rap themes.” The single represents his self-taught musical evolution, starting from zero musical background, with the motivation that not pursuing music would create “one regret for the rest of his life.”

The track appears on CLG’s latest project “9 Milli-Lettres,” a 9-track EP that offers what the artist describes as “a varied palette of what the artist loves and aims to offer listeners.” This collection follows his 2021 debut EP “Rifiuti,” which has since been reissued across streaming platforms.
