Camilo has released his fifth studio album, Para Cuando Sean Mayores, a 13-track project inspired by his experience as a father and his memories of childhood. The Colombian singer officially released the album on Sept. 9, 2026, describing the project as a collection of stories and lessons connected to his daughters, Índigo and Amaranto, while also exploring his own childhood.

Among the album’s central tracks is “El Árbol,” which served as the project’s first single. The song focuses on the passage of time and the importance of recognizing meaningful moments while they are happening. Camilo connects the song to his memories and to watching his daughters grow, making it one of the tracks that establishes the album’s central theme.

“Chiquita” is another key song on the record, inspired by Camilo’s younger daughter, Amaranto. The track incorporates a marimba and percussion influenced by Colombia’s Pacific region, while Amaranto’s voice also appears at the beginning of the song. The track is part of the album’s family-centered narrative.

“El Titiritero” blends pop with bossa nova and centers on the idea of recognizing happiness in the present. Camilo connects the song to lessons he learned from his father and to the experience of becoming a parent himself. The track reflects the album’s recurring focus on simplifying life and holding on to things that can easily be overlooked.

“La Medalla” features Camilo’s wife, Evaluna, and is the album’s only official collaboration. The pop ballad focuses on their relationship, mutual support and commitment. Camilo previously revealed that having Evaluna participate in the album was particularly meaningful because of the personal nature of the project.

“El Traje” represents one of the album’s more vulnerable moments. Built around a nostalgic piano arrangement, the song addresses the feeling of losing touch with one’s identity while moving through adulthood. It is part of a section of the album where Camilo examines the distance between the person he was as a child and the adult he became.

The album also includes “La Nieve,” which uses the growth of Camilo’s daughters as a way to examine the speed at which time passes, as well as “La Campana,” “El Cisne,” “El Ruiseñor” and “El Ángel.” His daughters’ voices appear elsewhere in the project, including “La Campana,” further connecting the album to his family life.

Para Cuando Sean Mayores arrives more than two years after Camilo’s previous album, Cuatro. The new project is now available on digital platforms, with Camilo preparing to take the material on the Para Cuando Sean Mayores Tour, which begins Oct. 9, 2026, in Miami before continuing through the United States, Latin America and Mexico in 2027.
