Cabruja Releases Vibrant New Single “Malecón – Reggaeton Version”

Emerging artist Cabruja announces the release of his latest single, “Malecón – Reggaeton Version,” a dynamic track that showcases his unique ability to bridge cultural influences while delivering infectious Latin rhythms that demand movement.

The new single opens with distinctive instrumentation that sets an atmospheric mood before gradually building into an irresistibly upbeat and lively rhythm. The track features beautifully harmonised background vocals that complement the lead, creating a vibrant, movement-driven experience designed to connect deeply with listeners across diverse musical backgrounds.

“Malecón – Reggaeton Version” represents another milestone in Cabruja’s remarkable journey from Venezuelan choir boy to Italian-based recording artist. Born in Caracas on November 30, 1979, Eduardo’s musical path began in childhood with school choir performances and culminated in a memorable appearance alongside 1,300 performers in Mahler’s Eighth Symphony at the prestigious Teresa Carreño Theater in 1988.

These connections resulted in the formation of an acoustic cover trio that performed regularly at the Festival and throughout Liguria, with a diverse repertoire spanning David Bowie, the Smiths, Harry Belafonte, and Compay Segundo. This eclectic musical foundation now informs Cabruja’s solo work as he balances his career as a Spanish-language science teacher with his artistic pursuits.

“Malecón – Reggaeton Version” continues this artistic evolution, demonstrating Cabruja’s growth as both songwriter and performer while maintaining the authenticity that defines his cross-cultural musical identity.
