Artist Richard Returns with Bold New EP “Arrival”, Announces National Fall Tour

Genre-defying artist Richard has released “Arrival”, his first multi-track project in three years, marking a bold new chapter in his evolving creative journey. The five-song EP fuses hip-hop and alt-pop with lyrical depth and melodic precision, delivering a visceral listening experience that explores themes of resilience, self-discovery, love, and rebellion.
Produced in collaboration with talents like KeepinitKrill and Arch Guru, “Arrival” captures a period of intense personal and creative transition. “This project is a reflection of where I am right now, creatively, emotionally, spiritually,” says Richard. “Every track is a snapshot of a moment or mood I’ve experienced these last couple of years navigating all of the positive and negative shifts in my life.”

From anthemic openers to introspective finales, the EP invites listeners into a space where vulnerability meets swagger. Richard, who began writing music at age six and recently shifted to pursuing music full-time after earning a master’s degree, is on a mission to prove that substantive lyricism and real-life subject matter can resonate as powerfully as viral hits.
To celebrate the release, Richard is embarking on his second headlining national tour this fall, kicking off in Portland, OR, and concluding in Long Beach, CA. The tour follows his successful 2023 headline run and recent relocation to the greater Seattle area.
Since his 2021 debut album Diary and its lead single “Unstable,” Richard has remained prolific, releasing a deluxe version of the album and collaborating on the experimental trip-hop EP Ryan Ethos. With Arrival, he continues to showcase his vocal dexterity, sharp pen, and soulful delivery, connecting with listeners across genres and walks of life.
