ADM Project returns with “Bugie di Cera” (Wax Lies), an instrumental single. Following the project’s recent releases, the track moves through melodic rock, ambient textures, and progressive influences to explore what happens when certainty built on appearances begins to fall apart.

At the heart of “Bugie di Cera” is the fragile nature of illusion. The track does not rely on lyrics to explain its meaning. Instead, its instruments carry the narrative. Guitar, saxophone, bass, drums, and delicate backing vocals gradually shape an atmosphere filled with tension, movement, and emotional detail. The result leaves space for listeners to form their own interpretation.

Miccichè wrote the composition and guitar parts while also handling the overall arrangement. His guitar provides one of the central voices of the piece, creating a musical dialogue with Luca Roseto’s saxophone. Roseto also composed the saxophone lines, bringing an expressive quality that gives the track much of its emotional character. Their exchange moves between tension and delicacy, allowing the arrangement to breathe while maintaining its sense of unease.

Roberto Pace adds another layer through his bass work. His composed bass lines give the track a steady foundation while adding warmth and movement beneath the guitar and saxophone. Federico Ramoni’s drums follow with a measured yet dynamic performance, supporting the changing intensity without overwhelming the other instruments.

Izie Odi’s delicate backing vocals add another texture to the arrangement. Rather than taking over the instrumental focus, they blend into the wider soundscape and deepen its atmosphere. Together, these elements create a piece that feels open-ended and emotionally driven, with each instrument contributing to the story in its own way.

The visual concept behind “Bugie di Cera” extends that idea. Its cover depicts a hot-air balloon made from shattered mirrors, suspended within a surreal landscape. The image reflects the track’s focus on fragile illusions and the search for authenticity. Each broken mirror offers another version of reality, suggesting how easily appearances can divide or distort what we believe to be true.
