Vinyl Floor Unveil “Mr. Rubinstein” the First Single from Upcoming Album “Balancing Act”

Danish rock band Vinyl Floor introduces a haunting and melodic new era with the release of their latest single, “Mr. Rubinstein”, the first offering from their forthcoming studio album “Balancing Act.”

“Mr. Rubinstein” captures the band’s signature craftsmanship, blending British 60s and 70s melodic rock with symphonic and progressive influences. The result is a moody, mid-tempo track that balances classic nostalgia with modern depth. Dominated by strings, piano, and organ, the song creates a cinematic soundscape that feels both tense and timeless.
The single was recorded at Studio Möllan in Malmö, Sweden, and produced by Emil Isaksson and Daniel Pedersen. Mixing and mastering were handled by Søren Vestergaard at The Shelter, bringing clarity and cohesion to the track’s layered arrangement. The single also features special guest musicians, including Bebe Risenfors (Tom Waits) on horns and Christian Ellegaard on strings, both adding texture and dimension to the haunting production.
With “Mr. Rubinstein,” Vinyl Floor reaffirms their position as master storytellers of melodic rock, blending atmosphere, authenticity, and artistry into a sound that transcends time.
“Mr. Rubinstein” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
