Country music star Morgan Wallen has revealed that he hasn’t stepped foot in a bar since his highly publicized chair-throwing incident in April 2024. In a recent appearance on Theo Von’s podcast, “This Past Weekend,” Wallen shared that the event significantly altered his approach to public spaces, leading him to seek tranquility in more private settings like hunting.
The chair-throwing incident occurred on April 7, 2024, when Wallen threw a chair from the roof of Nashville’s Chief’s Bar, narrowly missing two police officers. This act led to his arrest and subsequent legal proceedings. In December 2024, Wallen pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment. The court sentenced him to seven days at a DUI education center, two years of probation, and a $350 fine, with the possibility of having the charges dismissed upon successful completion of probation.
