Zayn Announces Fifth Studio Album ‘Konnakol’: Here’s When It Arrives

Zayn Malik has officially announced his fifth studio album, titled Konnakol, with the record set to be released on April 17, 2026 through Mercury Records and Republic Records. Konnakol follows his 2024 album Room Under the Stairs and continues his evolution as a solo artist. The announcement was made on February 4, with Zayn sharing the album title, artwork and release date via social media and press outlets.

The album’s first single, “Die for Me,” is scheduled to arrive on Friday, February 6, 2026 ahead of the full album release. Zayn previewed some of the new music during his recent Las Vegas residency, where he performed previously unreleased tracks that may appear on Konnakol.

The title Konnakol references the South Indian Carnatic art of vocal percussion, an influence Zayn has said resonates with his musical background and personal heritage. The album artwork features a striking visual of Zayn’s face merged with that of a snow leopard, imagery that had been teased earlier during his Vegas performances and reflects the cultural inspiration behind the project.

Pre-orders for Konnakol are now available, and the project marks Zayn’s return with a culturally rich and musically expansive body of work slated for spring 2026.
