YNW Melly Transferred to New Jail Facility for First Time in Five Years

YNW Melly, the rapper known for hits like “Murder on My Mind,” has experienced a significant change in his incarceration status for the first time in five years.

Since his arrest in February 2019 on charges of capital murder related to the deaths of his friends Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas and Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams in 2018, YNW Melly has been confined to the Broward County Jail. However, recent reports indicate that the 22-year-old artist has been relocated to the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach, Fla.
