Yingi Mao Releases Masterpiece “Talk To Me”
Yingi Mao, the emerging talent from Lagos, Nigeria, is making waves in the music industry with her debut EP, “Talk To Me.” This compelling project blends elements of hip-hop, gospel, and soul, delivering a powerful message of faith, resilience, and healing.
Released independently on February 23rd, 2024, “Talk To Me” is a heartfelt expression of Yingi Mao’s journey and beliefs, comprising six tracks that speak to the goodness of God and the importance of perseverance. Recorded and crafted in her home studio in Lagos alongside her gifted producer, Amaru, Yingi poured her heart and soul into this project over the past year and a half, culminating in a collection of songs that resonate deeply with listeners.
Yingi Mao’s music journey is marked by a period of profound loss and growth following the passing of her mother. Refusing to succumb to despair, Yingi turned to music as a means of healing and self-expression, drawing inspiration from her experiences and the supportive community around her.
