Lil Uzi Vert is back with a bang as he drops his latest track, “NFL,” which ingeniously stands for “Never Fall in Luv.” Accompanying the release is a stunning music video.

In “NFL,” Uzi delves into his thoughts on avoiding love, opting to shun relationships and focus on himself and his crew.

The accompanying music video for “NFL,” directed by Be El Be, showcases Baby Pluto enjoying a meal before taking a leisurely stroll down a street in one scene. Ultimately, they find themselves spitting lyrics in front of a car obliterated by an asteroid, with snippets of their live performances interspersed throughout. Uzi first teased the song earlier in the week with two snippets on their Instagram Stories. It remains uncertain whether the track will be part of Uzi’s forthcoming project, “Luv Is Rage 3.” In July, the Philadelphia native hinted at the imminent arrival of the upcoming tape while also admitting to occasionally misleading fans with release dates.

“Oh yeah, that’s coming,” affirmed Uzi. “Um, not too long. Probably, like… Honestly, I know I usually be lying, but a couple of months.”

Uzi’s most recent project, “Pink Tape,” hit the airwaves in June. The album boasts an impressive 26 tracks and showcases Uzi’s versatile musical range, including his unique take on the System of a Down hit “Chop Suey!” and another collaboration with Bring Me the Horizon.
