Lana Del Rey & Camila Cabello Entertains Coachella Crowd with ‘I Luv It’ Duet

Lana Del Rey’s weekend two performance at Coachella 2024 brought an unexpected surprise as Camila Cabello joined her on stage for a rendition of “I Luv It.”

During Del Rey’s headlining set on Friday night (April 19), the audience erupted with excitement as Cabello emerged on stage to collaborate on the new track. As Del Rey momentarily stepped back, Cabello took center stage with her backup dancers, delivering a vibrant performance of the hyper-pop hit, originally a collab with Playboi Carti.

Del Rey, visibly impressed, joined in on some verses and playfully spun Cabello around during the performance. Expressing her adoration for Cabello, Del Rey sang, “I luv it, I luv it, I luv it, I luv it,” after Cabello closed the song, emphasizing her joy at sharing the stage with the former Fifth Harmony member.

In response, Cabello expressed her gratitude, calling Del Rey one of her favorite artists and thanking her for the honor of performing together.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) the next day, Cabello showered Del Rey with praise, acknowledging her as a once-in-a-lifetime artist who has inspired countless others, including herself.

Prior to their Coachella collaboration, Del Rey had already shown her support for “I Luv It” on social media, captioning photos of Cabello with the song title.

Del Rey’s weekend two Coachella performance followed her star-studded set on the festival’s opening day, where she shared the stage with Jon Batiste, Jack Antonoff, and Billie Eilish, among others. Known for her mesmerizing vocals and captivating stage presence, Del Rey’s performance was enhanced by stunning set design and unexpected elements, including a hologram moment and even some pole twirling by the singer herself.

The duet between Del Rey and Cabello marked another unforgettable moment in Coachella’s rich history of musical collaborations.
