Renowned artist Enock Baabi, better known by his stage name Alinkin, is set to make waves in the music scene with the release of his latest single, “Speeding to You.”
Alinkin, hailing from Sunyani Barracks, Ghana, has drawn inspiration from a diverse array of musical influences, ranging from local legends like Gyedu Blay Ambulley and Reggie Rockstone to international icons such as Tupac, Nas, and Lil Wayne.

Now, Alinkin adds another stellar release to his repertoire with “Speeding to You,” featuring the sensational afrobeats singer Appyah. Known for his consistent sing-along hooks and danceable songs, Appyah brings a formidable presence to the track.
“Speeding to You” follows the successful release of “Atenga Amapiano,” a fusion of Ghanaian hiplife/afrobeats with the globally popular Amapiano sound. With its distinctive hilife feel, “Speeding to You” carries a powerful message of self-belief and perseverance, encouraging listeners to stay true to themselves despite any doubts from others.
Alinkin pays homage to the late Nana Tuffuor’s song “Atenga,” infusing a sentimental touch into the track. “Atenga,” a phrase learned from his mother, embodies resilience and accountability, conveying a profound life lesson to listeners.
“Speeding to You” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
