BTS To Chronicle Their Rise to Stardom in the Manga Series ‘FAME’
BTS, the iconic K-pop group, is set to have its meteoric rise chronicled in a new manga series titled “FAME,” produced by Tidalwave Productions.
Comprising seven members—Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—BTS has evolved into the world’s most celebrated K-pop ensemble since its formation in 2010. With chart-topping hits and global tours, the group has solidified its status as a cultural phenomenon.
“FAME,” a manga series authored by Eric M. Esquivel and illustrated by Lucy Fidelis Arts, is scheduled for release on January 10. The 22-page series will be available in soft copy, hard copy, and digital formats. The hard copy edition features cover art designed by Paulo Teles Yonami, with colors contributed by Alexandre Starling.
As BTS members currently fulfill their mandatory military service in South Korea, “FAME” offers fans a captivating glimpse into their journey.
Expressing excitement about the project, Esquivel stated, “I’m thrilled for the opportunity to entertain ‘The BTS Army’ while the boys are putting their ‘Bulletproof Boy Scouts’ claim to the test in the actual South Korean military!”
Illustrator Lucy Fidelis Arts shared her enthusiasm, stating, “Exploring the comics universe with the BTS was a delightful journey, where every stroke, word, and scene became strokes of joy. We crafted a captivating narrative that reflects the brilliance and magic of BTS’s extraordinary journey.”
