Alessio Iodice, Alex The Bug, is thrilled to announce the release of his latest single, “Manichino.” The track showcases Alex’s artist evolution and distinctive sound that blends pop and R&B influences.

Alex The Bug, born in ’95 and hailing from the Vesuvius region, began his musical journey at a young age, supported by his family who always believed in his talent. In 2012, Alex met Genn Butch (Gennaro Raia) and together they founded the project Urban Strangers. This collaboration led to significant success, including a gold record and a platinum single for “Runaway,” following their impressive second-place finish on the 9th edition of X Factor Italy in 2015.

After Urban Strangers disbanded and in response to the global pandemic, Alex decided to pursue a solo career. In 2020, he released his debut singles “Foto” and “Corri.” The hiatus allowed him to reflect and redirect his passion for music, resulting in his self-produced EP “T.i.o.n.” (All Together or Nothing) in 2022. Following this, he released a series of singles in 2023, including “All right,” “Fragile,” and “Apnea,” which showcased his more defined Pop/R&B sound.
